The challenge. Ofgem engaged us to support the launch of the Boiler Upgrade Scheme a flagship UK government initiative to reduce carbon emissions from home heating. Regulatory pressure, a public launch deadline, and limited internal delivery capacity meant they needed immediate support to mobilise and execute the programme.
Our approach. We deployed a cross‑functional digital team service designers, delivery managers, developers, testers, business analysts and took ownership of delivery from discovery to live. Working within GDS and GCA framework standards, we ran an agile cadence built around user feedback, iterative delivery, and structured stakeholder engagement so policy goals and product decisions stayed aligned.
The outcome. We accelerated delivery without compromising quality or compliance bringing the scheme to public beta within government timelines, improving the user experience through structured feedback loops, and establishing a delivery rhythm Ofgem could build on internally.
