SATIGO achieves Cyber Essentials Plus certification, strengthening assurance around the security of our systems, devices and day-to-day operations.

SATIGO is very pleased and excited to announce that we have achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the higher level of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials scheme.
For organisations operating in an increasingly digital environment, cyber security is an essential part of protecting information, maintaining operational resilience and reducing exposure to common cyber threats. Cyber Essentials provides a recognised framework for helping organisations establish the fundamental technical controls needed to strengthen their cyber security.
Cyber Essentials is a UK Government-backed scheme designed to help organisations protect themselves against a range of common cyber attacks. It focuses on five key technical areas that form an important foundation for cyber security:
Together, these controls help organisations reduce some of the most common opportunities for attackers and establish stronger baseline security practices.
There are two levels of Cyber Essentials certification. Cyber Essentials involves an organisation completing a self-assessment against the scheme's requirements. Cyber Essentials Plus builds on this by introducing independent technical verification.
As part of Cyber Essentials Plus, an independent assessor carries out hands-on testing of an organisation's systems and devices to verify that the required security controls are working effectively in practice. This provides a greater level of assurance than self-assessment alone.
For SATIGO, achieving Cyber Essentials Plus therefore provides additional confidence that the security measures we have in place are operating as intended across our organisation.
Cyber security is not simply about responding to incidents when they happen. Strong security starts with putting appropriate controls in place to reduce risk before an incident occurs.
This is particularly important for organisations that handle information across multiple systems, devices and digital platforms. Maintaining secure configurations, controlling access, applying security updates and protecting devices can all help reduce an organisation's exposure to common forms of cyber attack.
For SATIGO, Cyber Essentials Plus covers the organisation as a whole and provides our clients, partners and people with additional assurance around how we protect information and manage security across our day-to-day operations.
As a provider of specialist resources and capability for digital transformation, maintaining appropriate security standards is an important part of how we operate. Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus reflects our continued commitment to protecting the information entrusted to us and maintaining effective cyber security practices.
Certification is not a substitute for ongoing security management. The technology organisations use, the way people work and the nature of cyber threats continue to change, meaning that security practices need to be regularly reviewed and maintained.
Achieving Cyber Essentials Plus is therefore an important milestone for SATIGO, while also reinforcing the importance of continuing to review, test and improve our approach to cyber security.
